Michael has been jogging every night. I think people perceive he is running FROM something, as joggers are not a frequent sighting here. Anyway, lucky for us, he jogged past an Italian restaurant and scored us a great place to eat tonight. So any of you people on your way to Daugavpils, go alllll the way down the pedestrian only street and their is a little place called "Mia Italia." It's cheap and it's good, nuff said.
The evening ended with a huge thunderstorm with some spectacular Georgia style lightening. Dima suggested we take a cab, but we had umbrella's, so we hoofed it back to the hotel. On the way, we joked with Natasha that we didn't take a cab because that cab driver was too in love with her and that she could not date till she was 19. She giggled. As we told Dima the same thing, he mused over this and replied "Ummmmmm, maybe not till 21!" HA! Love it!
A good end to a busy day. Meeting with the ladies from the social services tomorrow at 11am then the day is up in the air. Natasha and DIma are negotiating some potential trip to Kraslava to visit Gertruda, Natasha's foster mom....no telling what they will come up with.
